I think it is actually easier now as you don't have to decipher the even worse BS with buying a GPU. Now you can buy/upgrade both at the same time and save cash.

the a8 for this price is PERFECT for HTPC use.
I'd much rather the 3800 which is only 65w TDP vs this - 100w TDP
