I just used the free state download to calculate my state return then went to the louisiana department of revenues website and did it there for free. Just make sure the numbers agree.

TurboTax has a lot more financial institutions you can download the tax info (interest, dividend, stock tradings, etc.), which will save you lot of time if you have several of them to report.

I got this same deal last year along with the TurboTax deal. Guess I'll get it again and see which one works better. I think TurboTax worked better for me last year but doesn't hurt to use both.

I just installed it. It does not include state. "Each state program costs $36.95". It's not just no state e-file, it's no state software at all. Federal only.
