for example if i buy a 69.99 item and i use a 15% off staples coupon and the item says free after easy rebate.
does that mean, 69.99 - 10.49 = 59.49
so I would pay 59.49 + 6.82 = 66.81

ahhh, I see so in addition to that, it is smart to just do the 10 ink recyling monthly since that's basically a free $20 bucks minus the cost of the empty ink cartridges.

Don't buy Rewards Items with Rewards (because rewards don't roll). So don't use ink recycling Rewards to buy, say, the batteries that are 100% Rewards back this week.
But you CAN buy Rebate items...
