I agree this game is a glitchy POS on the PS3. I put a ton of hours into FO3 but ran into so many bugs in FO:NV that I quit within 2 hours and never touched it again.

Yeah, pretty much. Most AAA games these days, even if you buy them from a retailer like Best Buy or Gamestop, require you to install either Steam or Origin and register your game to that account.

The thing with gaming rigs is you have to contend with DRM (Securom, etc.) and 'buy once, can't do anything else' solutions like Steam and Origin. I.E. you pay $60 for a game like Skyrim on Steam...

Building or buying a current tech gaming rig is probably 3 or 4 times more expensive than a ps3 or xbox, so it doesn't seem very fair to compare the 2

idk i have ps3 and skyrim, over 250 hours on it so i dont know how much "later in the game' i have to be it does lock up more than any other game but that being said its done it fewer than 15 times...

i've been doing all the quests on my ps3 fat, and got over a 12mb save file, my skyrim is still running good. little stuttering during autosave and a freeze every few days or so, but it runs well....

ths is a good price but the ultimate edition is coming out soon and will have ALL the dlc sold with the game, so if you want the best fallout experience you should hold off a bit all of the dlc...

I never had any problems with Fallout 3 on the 360...New Vegas on the other hand was terrible.
I completed most of the side quests before going into the New Vegas strip - big mistake.
