My Sony did say 1080p60 28M (high quality - beyond bluray as it says there) or 24M (standard bluray quality)...

I don't know what that means, 720p has nothing to do with data storage. That's video resolution determined by the file encoding.

I don't think it's good idea to put the original 1080p movie into a phone. It's usually >27GB for a movie. The phone or tablet cpu can't handle it.
