This is quite interesting. 2GB VRAM would help in BF3 to add on AA and stuff like that. However, I don't think 2GB of VRAM is practical unless you're gonna XFIRE in which you might hate (or not!)...

Only if you are considering like eyefinity (more VRAM the better) or playing BF3 on max ultra (I heard BF3 consumes like 1.5GB VRAM on ultra)

hmm. i do mostly play bf3. currently have a gtx465. i'm not really sure what the eyefinity consist of. thats basically if you're using multiple displays correct? i also heard about the massive ram...

aa will render some parts of the scene at a higher resolution, then downsample intelligently to remove the jaggies. thus higher res = more vram needed.
