I imagine both these lens would be fine on this tripod. I would advise not leaving them alone if it doesn't feel 100% stable, but will fine for keeping the camera stable. For anybody getting heavier...

In total agreement here. Manfrotto is a good company, but I just spent under $200 for a tripod for the same setup and it would have been less if I went with a ball head. Tripods will last 10-20...

That buckle is complete "style over substance" by Manfrotto. Unfortunately, they use it on their other bags (e.g., backpacks, slingbags, etc) and it's a complete overkill when there are two zippers...
