hi, at the moment my deal notifications is useless to me since for example someone posts a deal at 5:30 pm, I won't receive the alert in my inbox until 7:30! By then everything is pretty much OOS....

I do have a three thumbs requirement and get deals 2-12 hrs late. Is it because alerts go to yahoo (not gmail) -shouldn't be?

I also have this problem. Today's BlackBerry PlayBook deal is the perfect example -- I'm lucky I was on the site when I was and managed to get one, which is exactly why I had the deal alert set...

Yahoo, hotmail, and several others can introduce delays. I get deal alerts immediately with gmail.

I created an instant Amazon deal alert and received an email 2 minutes after the thread was posted. I tested with gmail.

I would tighten up your settings a bit, it's going to be slow if you want EVERY SINGLE DEAL to be sent to you.. at-least put like 3 thumbs or something as a requirement
