I have this TV (65GT30) and I've checked out the Sharps...all model #s, and none are even in the same league as the Panasonic. The Sharps have screen uniformity issues that were clearly visible...

Also if you care about the aesthetics of the tv as well. The ST30 is much more out-dated and the GT30 has a classier more modern look to it.

Sharp TV's shouldn't even be mentioned with Panasonic plasmas aside from their flagship models. Pretty sure this set will trounce any Sharp LED under $3k
