I have this TV (65GT30) and I've checked out the Sharps...all model #s, and none are even in the same league as the Panasonic.

Also if you care about the aesthetics of the tv as well. The ST30 is much more out-dated and the GT30 has a classier more modern look to it.

Plasma is good for price, but I hate the dimness on plasma, it bothered me more than the lack of black level on LED or LCD.
