Yeah, Sears is a mess... I usually don't pay much attention to the points thing but just by coincidence happened to get that email a few minutes before I read this thread.

Decent product, price and great filler item to add when ordering to get $5 off or free shipping. Makes a great replacement general purpose glove rather than wearing some used grimy old ones

Good thing you guys posted to let the OP know that his current thread has worse prices than the thread he himself posted with the same tools 2 weeks ago
the reason people should care about the finish on the tool isn't because it's beautiful or not. it's because the polished surfaces are much easier to clean after you've been under the car pulling...

Hmmm... wonder if I could buy 2 sets to get free shipping and return the other. Shipping kills the set I want and I can't find $40 more worth of stuff I need/want.

Are these gloves any good? A while back I tried on a pair and the finger tips felt really slippery. What would you use or wear these for?
Post #48166966 added 03-02-2012 7:46 PM by omz in Archived Deals
makes sense, i forgot about that. but still, for the majority of people, including myself, i couldn't justify paying nearly double the price for polished wrenches. i'd rather spray some simple green...

Can't say I'd be buying junk import tools because of Craftsman's drop in quality. Still, Craftsman's sockets are as good as anything else, their US-made full-polish wrenches are pretty good, and the...
