I TU-ed. This has been $500 before, but not $400. Sound image is as B&W 9series /the luxury shiny ones :) /, which are $1200 each. Vienna Acoustics sound similarly.
Now, if it was the Veritas 6.3...

I have 2 RC-50's. The sound quality on those is great; this is their next line up if I'm correct. Great deal OP! Also, the rosenut speakers are MUCH nicer than the blacks.

I would guess they are being TD for "not a good price" because you can get good, brand name floorstdanding speakers for much less than this. Not that this isn't a name brand (I have no idea), just...
