Recieved the Planar Today- Well posted if difference with the 1900x1200 vs 1900x1080. I have the HP w2408h. Received it today and yes there is a huge difference. The colors are good and if I did...

Me too, I have some 23 inch TN samsung monitors and they are ok, but 27 would seem to cause angle problems with a TN panel. Also 1080 is pretty low res for a 27 inch monitor.

I would rather have a 24 inch 1080 monitor than a 27 inch 1080 monitor. The resolution seems too low for a 27 inch monitor and I would think the angles might be a problem.

The extra 120 pixels may not sound like a lot, but it's a big difference to me. I just bought the Dell 2412M couple months ago. The extra 120 pixels makes it noticeably roomier. I had a Dell 2408,...

Absolutely, I'd much rather have 1920 X 1200 than 1920 X 1080. Higher resolution is better. Expensive 27 inch monitors are much higher resolution than 1080.
