What about doing water cooling for your PC to keep it quiet, but then using the UV reactive liquid or tubing to get it to glow? This would give you your pretty lighting, but also keep your PC nice...

I've got 4 sticks of LED memory that lights up as it is working. It sort of has a Matrix look to it when lit up as the LEDs flash in a sort of falling sequence. Video here (not mine)...

Thats always a good thing to do, plus it helps air flow. Also instead of "lights" you can go for a quite pc. If your doing music recording last thing you want is something that sounds like blower...
