Typically 1" over the stock length won't affect anything - take a look at your OEM blade, add 1/2" to either end and see if it'll foul or hit anything, and if not, you're fine with the next blade...

Got 2. Had to run to two different wal-marts. One of the had very few wipers and some other type of rainx wipers. The other one had nice selection.

Just an FYI My Altima calls for 26 and 17. Walmart was all out of 17's so I gave the 18's a shot and they work perfectly so far. 1" wiggle room may be fine in the case of some other vehicles also.
