It simply comes down to what you think a 17" screen, lower resolution, and no bluray is worth... then subtract it from the OP. Then add in it's pluses, which might be more portability and (perhaps)...

Even with USB 2.0 it's still a great deal. Only USB hard drives ever really take advantage of the USB 3.0 at this time, so you're not missing much. Also, it would be better to throw it on eBay...
