I used a carrier with my 37lb almost 2 year old this past summer in NYC. Can't imagine having done anything else :) Great deal OP! I've never tried the 3g but the 2g was awesome.

Should do some research on Bjorn- they are definitely not a good deal health wise. I'd much rather dish out the extra cash on this or nearly any other carrier than a Bjorn.
