they can take 8gb of ram 400 i would say to be slick seeing that they can be sold for 500... but 568 are inflation prices

Maybe you're aware of this, but the one you linked is older than the model in the OP and uses DDR2 vs DDR3 (among other differences like batter life).

That is an odler model. This is a macbook, not a macbook pro. That macbook is limited to 4GB RAM.

Given that you can usually find the current 13" MBP for $999-$1049, I'd have to agree with fyi and say that you really have to love OS X to pay $600 for 3 yr old refurb MacBook (non-Pro).
