You shouldn't have to "flash" it to use it on PP. If it was on Verizon, it will work on PP. They have plans as low as $12/mo. with no contract, so I would look into that.

you can ask verizon to change your phone number (just say you are getting spammed), or just import another number from anywhere else.. like from a $5 pre-paid phone, it won't affect your plan at all...
