This set looks remarkably similar to the Costco set I bought years ago and still use daily. Pieces included are the same and looks similar.

Cuisinart is one of the quality manufacturers of kitchen hardware. I bought one of their copper set from Amazon, abused and overheated countless times in the past, still managed to hold in one...

The V in the handle, breaks up the heat. They are great, a friend has these. I just purchased the costco kirkland cooper set, and might return it for this.

Got this set for $209 back in July '11, great set, just be careful not to use too high heat if you care about it staying pretty. It can discolor. If you just want it to cook, then good, it works...

Be aware that set has been selling at that price most of the last two years. Having used the MultiClad set in the OP for about five years, I can attest to its quality and superb cooking...

Go with the Tramontina - you won't regret it, especially now that the mcp has gone up in price. Your wallet will thank you too. To buy just the equivalent stock pot in All-Clad is $350, fyi. ...

I have these in my kitchen now. The handles do get warm. I have used them in the oven with great results. Oddly, I find the steamer basket very useful for steaming. I am a very pleased customer. I...

The sizes of that no-name brand suck. And nowhere does it say 18/10 in that listing, either. I own the OP's MCP set as well as Tramontina triplyclad. The MCP appears to be about as good as...

Ditto on comment about the V handles. Sometimes they do heat up but generally they stay remarkably cool compared to the main pot's body. General consensus is, rivets done well are for durability,...

LOL at the Chinese comment. The kirkland clad set I've used and abused for years is holding up just fine... and the Chinese can make them just as good if that's their intent.

Do these have low heat conductivity alloy handles? Also, I've always been skeptical of pots with through rivet handles. The tend to leak after a while... even the good ones.
