Are you sure it was the HX820 for 999? I know Tigerdirect sold HX729 for 999. not HX820.
Amazon has this for $1299.99. Thats the reason i felt this a good deal.

They were selling the tv for 999 a while back. Personally I wouldn't buy a tv from tigerdirect again.

You may be correct about the blu-ray player pricing. I would suggest you think again if you need a sony or a toshiba. I personally feel Sony is a better make. Again, this is just my thought.
