I'm already using 5.0 haven't had any problems except 1 which is a known issue and there's a fix for it.

There are many people not upgrading to version 5. The new version has a HIPS but it still has a few bugs and the default settings are fairly weak. I liked version 4 better but am running version 5...

I got mine.
I've waited almost a year to install from a deal. You get a year from when you activate it.
Last time it was this price it wasn't a front page deal...must be slow.

I think they did some testing of antivirus and it showed that ESET wasn't the best anymore... that the free antivirus from AVG was among the top 3... I'll stick with free...

agreed completely, i work on pcs to.., and who ever thinks AVG is great....needs their head examined.. its very very very lacking.. it misses alot to.., if a free program is needed i only recommened...

Thanks, I appreciate it. Agreed, eset is solid. I like it better than Kaspersky and MSE. Tends to detect things that others didn't like DNS poisoning attacks, javascript trojans, etc.

Pretty sure you can use the license on regular Nod 32AV... that way you get rid of the "bloat" of Smart Security....FYI
