Actually It's way better than ReadyBoost since Momentus's cache is real SSD. And it works with XP. even with Momentus XT 500GB, my laptop has become really comfortable.

It'll work, but it would be a waste of money since the cache feature wouldn't work (unless you install Apps to the external drive). ReadyBoost cannot boot to Win 7 in just 24 seconds like this...
