I am surprised there is so little attention to this deal now. This is the lowest price on this drive from any retailer ever. It was on the FP at $150 and a very popular deal at $179/$175.

The short story: I saw that one. It was only $0.99 lower, but the model number is different. That's why I decided to leave it out of the equation. The long story: There was a confusion there on...

I bought this drive for $150 from Amazon and posted the deal at SD on 3/26/12. Thus far $150 is still the cheapest price for Californians. In the post I had links to benchmark videos on...

I might be in the minority here, but I would much rather have a "stupid" hybrid drive. Something like 20to40GB SSD combined with 500GB of HDD space in a 2.5" package, but "shows up" as two...

On one hand, I'm beginning to think that with all these 'deals', $150 is the new baseline price. On the other hand, I would hate to sit on this and have the price hover around $175 for the rest of...

For peeps in CA like me, the Amazon deal for $149.99 is still the best, since there's no tax (this Newegg deal is $157.68 after tax for me, so slightly higher than Amazon).
