Streaming online content is via wifi is very poor, lots of lag. And streaming large files from a local drive via wifi is even worst. I ended up running a Cat5E to the WD device.

Are you looking for Linux shares on NAS? Try looking up windows share. I got E3000 and have installed tomato with NAS setup. It works perfect. For me turned out to be worth every penny...

You can setup the path of the folder in the media library (in setup) and then select media library as your source. Then you will only see just one folder.

12 hours after I hooked it up and so far so good. Played music from my hard drive and seen some youtube videos using wifi connection to my e3000 2.4 ghz radio(It turns out it can't pick up 5Gz radio).
