The camera issue is due to the Cyanogenmod developers not having the proper code (drivers) for the cameras to work with android (Gingerbread and ICS, iirc), and it is not feasible for them to create...

I've had mine for about half a year now. I mounted mine above my bed in a dock I made myself. Now it is mainly just a fancy alarm clock. I also use it to listen to music and to watch "videos".

Why not get Touchpad ICS off CL? I think for a true SDer, Touchpad is a best deal and then in 7-8 months around ThanksGiving you get Google/AsusTek one.
