As long as the Raid speed compensates for the speed loss from no Trim it doesn't matter.

trim is 100% for speed, but only after the drive has been filled/used quite a bit - normally the SSD speeds would deteriorate with use, but TRIM helps avoid that

Does this exist yet? I read a few articles from last year that said that Intel was supposed to be releasing an update for their RST driver that would allow both--but couldn't find anything recent.

After reading a few reviews, I'm expecting between 900MB/s-1GB/s with the two drives in RAID0. I thought TRIM was more for the health of the drive, not speed?
I'm a novice when it comes to SSDs.

I believe that's wear leveling that ensures that the drive functions as long as possible. TRIM simply deletes data marked for deletion as a background process. From my understanding it's all handled...
