all of those are overkill for an htpc... and more money than you should dump into an htpc, i built my A6-3670K setup for ~200$.
just go with an AMD APU, plenty of processing power and a better...

the 2600k has 2 threads per core, as opposed to 1 thread per core for the 2500k...so basically if you do cpu intensive work, the 2600k is a better option

That’s what I am stating. I recommend 1.5 volt DDR3 1600 RAM since it is true 1600 RAM. 1.65 volt DDR3 1600 is nothing more than DDR3 1333 overclocked.
