Why is it so hard to find a more "premium" laptop (vs the $300-$400 range) with a backlit keyboard?

right now it's hard to find anything good---this deal should have been around $550 but overpriced by $50. But this is a small form factor 14" so that's it's biggest selling point!

Two of the reviews say that it is a refurbished laptop and not new.
Reviews on newegg say that it is a 14" screen in a 15" laptop case so probably bigger than you are expecting.
