Just because you see it listed for $1000 doesn't mean you can sell your for $900 easy. I'm willing to wager you will be lucky to get $600 on CL.

I got the display model today. Marked $499. Gave me an extra 10% off because it was display, and since there was no stand or manual (or box) I got an extra 20% off. So with tax, $378.

Nice find. I'd only use a 40" in a bedroom, so wouldn't need the bells and whistle to justify $500 for a bedroom TV, but for others that would use this for a main TV and this size suits your need,...
