OCZ bought Indilinx not Sandforce!!! LSI bought Sandforce!

The problem is not with SandForce, but indeed with OCZ. It's OCZ shipping SSDs using inferior chips.

Awesome drive. Just installed mine a week ago. Sort of wish I had waited to buy, but it's worth it nonetheless.

To buy an SSD or to wait for IMFT 20nm to come on market, I imagine when they do prices are goign to drop as capacity at the next node is quite high, expect 1TB 2.5" drives, at least from what I...

Decent price for new release. Non-Sandforce. Marvell/Indilinx, but still OCZ. So, "Who wants to go to Fire Lake?" - Bob Seger. Anyone?

Code works on the larger sizes, just no GC. Also, you can get multiple gift cards if you order more than one of the 128GB. If you consider the $20 gift card good as cash, then it puts the 128GB...

I don't think this drive has been out long enough to have a "proven track record"... so you may want to keep that in mind. I'd stick with Intel or Samsung for now if reliability is at or near the top...

Kind of. It's not necessarily the chips that are inferior but the firmware.
