Using espresso grind coffee in a drip maker will overextract and cause bittering. If not, the coffee is just plain flat and old, which does not surprise me with bricks.

Yes Bustello also very good and not overly powerful.

This is my favourite coffee for espresso.
Very smooth and finely ground.
Vacuum sealed in a brick so it is fresh too.
2lbs of good coffee for $14.xx, not too shabby

Agreed-- a nice roast. I have it several times a week from a stove-top espresso maker and it's quite good once you add a bit of milk & sugar, or some kind of sweetened non-dairy creamer.
