are you able to login to EPP site and see EPP price. i am able to login but when i click i agree button on next screen, it takes me shop.panasonic.com, it does not look like EPP site any thoughts?

Doubt Panasonic will in the plasmas. Maybe a 75 in the GT+. Sharp will likely do it though maybe this year. But I'm not a fan of their picture quality.

Ok never mind. The e5 does have online movies, but it is not through Viera Connect. I am completely confused by the difference between regular connect and Viera.

FYI, the TC-L42E50 is $757 on Amazon. I'm lazy, so not checking the rest, but I'd guess many are price competitive, with Amazon being obviously a better place to buy.

Panasonic does not have any tvs that big. If you want the larger sizes, you have to look at projectors.

The E50 series is Panasonic's smart tv line up with Viera Connect to access Amazon Video, Hulu Plus, Skype, etc. If you already have a blu-ray player with internet app, you can do the same...
