I believe the chargers trickle the last 10%. I know it was from like 90 to 100 or 80 to 100. I can't remember exactly what the manufacturer rep stated to us.

Well, it can be desirable to have a slow charger. I have an OEM Nokia usb to microusb cable that barely charges my LG Optimus. It takes 10 hours to take it from 40% to 100%. On the other hand,...

Got 5 of these (Refurb) for $4 shipped (in total) few months ago. They are pretty good (none of the refurbs has failed so far)

With a bad/slow/crappy setup, you can trickle the entire charge. Keeps the battery temp down. I'm just saying it's not necessarily a bad thing to have a turtle charger. Fwiw, I use the slow...

Great charger... Got one for the 4S for $2.50 shipped on Ebay!

Don't like refurbs... I'd rather pay $5-$6 for a new retail than $1 for a furb... The package says $29.99 on it... Paid $5...

Just like placebo, if they sold you a refurb in retail packaging you wouldn't know the difference. I'll stick with my $1 charger rather than paying 6 times more just for cardboard & plastic.

cool, I'll get the OEM one.

Disagree. These batteries have no problem charging at 1 AMP and it should not affect the life of the battery. I have two batteries anyway... If I'm in the car I want my phone to charge fast...

Yeah, these go for $30 at the AT&T store so I thought it was a good deal.
Post #49549534 added 04-25-2012 8:21 AM by gzrecoil in Archived Deals
Definitely is a good deal. Another benefit, these seem to put out full power, whereas the one I got from newegg barely kept my phone at a steady battery life.

"The USB charging port does not support the iPhone" I know its a USB Universal charger but i'm skeptical to buy if it doesn't work with the iPhone/iPod.
