External drives have a much slower Read and write than Internal ones... Idifferent mechanisms I guess: Internal: 150+ MB/s External:30-50 MB/s Plus the reviews give it more 1 star than 5 stars...

FYI, those free $25 coupons released are for INSTORE only. This drive says its only can be ordered ONLINE. You'll have to buy the coupons on Ebay for "Online" orders.

3TB drive should use GPT partition table instead of MBR. Should work best with 64-bit Windows 7. Probably should just stick with 2TB on older system. I had no issue installed 3TB in a Core i5 system....

$115 is pretty good for a 3tb, if you need 1 today, if you keep an eye out you may be able to land 3tb's as low as $60-$100 B&M YMMV LOOK HERE AND HERE
