I live in the "funny" state of Cali and Amazon will soon be taxing us as well.

California too. But it's not Amazon's fault. It's the states forcing it. I hate paying in the insane amount of sales tax we have to pay here. It really makes a difference on what and where you buy.

Texas, as well as many other states, has had a 'use tax' for many years. You are legally expected to pay the appropriate 'use tax' for items you purchased from out-of-state and did not pay sales tax...
