From everything I've seen, the card is about 11 inches. It's a big one, but you might be able to squeeze it in. Up to you whether or not it's worth the risk, as it sounds like you'll be cutting it...

I'm going to get the Visiontek 7850 2GB for $250 and be done with it. lifetime warranty and future proof for sure. $50 isn't much in the greater scope of things. Thanks for the reply securety10,...

i don't think it will be worth it since 5850 is behind 6870 by 5-10% so you will get about 10-20% increase, save your money on 7870 at least

A 6950 2GB will definitely handle Diablo 3 on max everything (even extreme settings, if blizzard releases) without any problems at any resolution assuming you have a nice CPU to go with it. How do...

From my understanding, the 555 is just a quad-core CPU that has been renamed because one or two of the four cores are defective. Some people have had success unlocking one or two additional cores...

I'm basing it on Anandtech's review. Though I admit the reviews are dated and at the time i remember people claiming the Fermi would perform better once the drivers matured.

Anyone know if this is good enough to run Guild Wars 2 on highest settings with minimal lag? I currently have two 9800 gt SLI, is this card much better / worth the upgrade?

short answer: yes unless you're playing above 1920x1200 with EVERYTHING maxed out.

Performance wise yes, but after just buying the 480. It is definitely a LOUD card, and does get very hot. Reference 480 vs this card, you can go either way sacrifice a little performance for much...

From everything I have read 1GB is more than enough to run all of today's games at full settings. In the FUTURE it might need more, but for right now you are fine with 1GB. If you do video editing...

Would you say that one of these GPUs is a worthwhile upgrade for two 5670s in crossfire, or would it be a better idea to wait or go for one of the newer generation cards?

Very nice deal, but I'd rather spend a few extra $$ and grab a 7850 which has massive OC potential (1200+ on the core is common). That, or wait for the 660ti rumored to be released on May 10th.
