I didn't know that Toastman builds disabled anything like that. I figured all builds had the same flashing directions (30-30-30 reset, flash, 30-30-30 reset again)

Nope, Toastman tells people all over that DHCP is disabled.

Correct. You should never flash firmware without the directions. Your just asking for major problems if you do.

The reason why only your printer worked was because in Toastman builds have DHCP disabled by default.
