I've found cheap plasmas generally have much better motion than cheap LCDs. If combing and motion blur bother you (they drive me crazy) then either go for plasmas or shell out for better LCDs. ...

What's the actual resolution? Sometimes 720p means 1024x756 with rectangular pixels. Other times it means 1366x756.

wow I literally was just looking at this in-store yesterday for 379.99 and was about to pull the trigger.. this is a pretty amazing price.. sure its 720p, but on a 42 inch it shouldnt matter too...

Yeah, I've got a 43" Samsung plasma, and the thing is incredibly thin. The bezel is tiny too, it's amazing how much of a difference a smaller bezel makes.
