Around 14.1MB each (my buffer can hold 9). So, I'm writing 141MB to the card each time Samsung microSDHC Class 2(for lulz): 78 seconds, or 1.8MB/s Sandisk Extreme III 4GB Class 6: 34 seconds,...

We already established the fact that the -A31 doesn't do 30MB/s at all, UHS or not. What makes you think that it's any good? Both the HD Video 30MB/s and Extreme 45MB/s will do 45MB/s read. ...

Good prices but the list prices are quite inflated. When has a 32GB ever cost $189? But the sale prices are good especially with free shipping. Yesterday I was going to buy a card from another...

Yes because my USB 3.0 card reader isn't UHS But that doesn't mean you will get 35MB/s+ write in your camera, my T2i and 60D seem to top out at around 20-22MB/s Write

Like I've said before I'll just be using it in my Sony Point and Shoot... I should probably just go with an Ultra instead.

But that convo is referring to the exact model number... it's really confusing.

How big are your raw+jpg files? The Ultra does max around ~13MB/s write in general, regardless of camera or card reader T2i - From start of pressing shutter to end of red light flushing to card...

The same product number shows a 45mb/s card at Adorama but a 30mb/s card at Buy.com... I guess we'll see. Also.... the Beach Camera product page specifically says this is the "new 45mb/s version"...

Bought Class 10 16GB cards from Staples last week at $19.99 and they had 32GB for 39.99 as well. Not what I consider a slickdeal as Newegg has Class 10 for $15 (16GB) and $25(32GB). Buffer in my DSLR...

The Ultra is 30MB/s* read -- write speed may be lower. Since we already confirmed that they are handing out Extreme 45MB/s instead of HD Video 30MB/s, I will go ahead and post these benchmarks (I...

yep. that ESP crap. Only the D90 is confirmed to utilize it. even then it still doesn't get close to the max.
Post #49682010 added 04-30-2012 10:37 AM by AkumaX in Archived Deals
Right, I think even in the D90, it was only able to reach 25MB/s write. 5D3 tests all of the SanDisk SDHC/SDXC cards (from Extreme to Extreme Pro 95MB/s) and they were all doing around 18-19MB/s. ...

B&H had the 64 GB Sandisk Ultra for $48. It is also 30 MB / sec. If what I'm reading here is true, wouldn't the 64GB be more of a Slick Deal?

Are you saying the HD VIdeo cards don't require UHS to reach higher speeds? (SanDisk is really shooting themselves in the foot fight now with this craziness)

Too much confusion here. I cancelled my order as my Sony HX9V, in which this will be used, doesn't support UHS. I still want a SanDisk Extreme Card but I guess I'll have to wait on a better deal.
Post #49687308 added 04-30-2012 1:16 PM by aberrero in Archived Deals
It's a great card, probably the best on the market right now at anywhere near this price range. That other one maxes out at 30MB/s rather than 45MB/s. I don't know which will be faster, but I do...
