This is an ok price compared to the deals offered by Frys. They were at $499. I think the D3100 would be better as it has auto focus on video mode, plus it is a great DSLR and has good picture...

The Fry's deal was hard to get and 499 was before tax. Amazon is shipped to my house in 2 days and tax free.

Except your deal wasn't actually cheaper. :D You bought the body only (no lens or filter) for $399. My way you end up at $399 also but also get a lens and filter included. You can even flip the lens...

True about taxes, if you live in one of the states that Frys stores is located. Otherwise no tax. Frys ship the cameras w/o tax and free shipping if you live in a state other than the frys stores....
