Very simple to open up. Just pry the back up with a flat screwdriver. FYI, it is IMPOSSIBLE to not open this without breaking the tabs. You can reuse the housing but some of the tabs would be broken....

Reviews said that its tough to open up but doable. But I can't seem to find the hard drive speed anywhere! I'm guessing its 5400 rpm?
