Hey sorry, that sounds right actually. At idle it should be 800 MHz. Turbo (2.6 GHz, the B0 state) only kicks in one core and doesn't happen too often, only on menial tasks that don't stress all...

True, although I think the A8-3500m is actually also a pretty decent deal. With this your going to get better graphics performance than an i5 with an HD 3000 and probably better than an i7 with an HD...
