I let it charge overnight and the LED is blue which indicates that it is charged. Unfortunately, The power button doesn't seem to work and the unit will not turn on. It appears to be DOA.

Hey, try loading up a cbr file in this thing and see if it can read it. Apparently this reader does a lot more than what's listed in the manual.
