It could all be easily done on the developer side. When you paid for an app, they could easily shoot you a code that would unlock the app 1 time on every platform.

Can you play against your same email? Like could XYZ@gmail on the iPhone play XYZ@gmail on an Android? Never really played these...

I ended up paying the $3 equivalent to go ad-free in WWF. Worth it.
I just wish that buying the ad-free experience translated across devices via your account. I hate that I bought the $0.99...

Good on OMGPOP for selling it at the highest possible point. I think it just gets boring when there are so few words in the free version that I can often pick out a word just by the letters supplied...
