I decided to front load my payments so my remaining payments are around $2,400 over the next 3 years. I would do the same if I finance a car. I would prefer to avoid paying interest on that amount...

Destination charge has to be paid. Regardless of lease or buying. I'm not a fan of leasing either but used cars are ridiculous. I'm probably leasing with intent to buy-out.

Absolutely agree. I went against my gut and went for a lease. Generally, I'm very against them. I was looking at the used market and there isn't much around me. Honestly, no idea. :(

FWIW I bought a new fully loaded mazda3 s gt for 22k 3 years ago and just traded it in for 15k. Spent 7k over those 3 years and 44k miles on a much nicer vehicle.

Look at your lease document it will be on there. Multiply that number by 2400 and that is your annual interest rate.
