You don't need a 'special' GPU but you need to make sure your card supports DVI-D (dual link DVI) otherwise you won't be able to use 120hz feature (the only reason this monitor is anything special.)...

Yeah they jacked up the price to $359.99 like... three days ago I think? The original deal was a great price for this monitor. Best I've ever seen when bundled with the glasses/IR emitter.
