The upgrade to 2gb ram will speed it up a bit, but not if you have done nothing to preform maintence on the machine. I see nothing here about you cleaning out cookies, temp files, temp internet...

make more partitions help to seek files faster!

I agree 100%. Leave the hardware as is and reformat the machine. If this is an original install it has to be going on 10+ years at this point which is long for any machine but especially XP.
