I think Plextor is now owned by LiteOn, a Taiwanese co. I dont think LiteOn SSDs are any more reliable than top tier brands like Intel/Crucial/Samsung SSDs. Disclosure: I have two LiteOn M3 SSDs....

Samsung much more reliable and probably faster but the newer OCZ Vertex 4 is faster but does cost more- Waiting on Plextor but might jump at a Decent deal on the current Cruical SSD

seems like the samsung is faster but the ocz is definitely alot more bang for your buck by quite a bit... .60/gig which is probably the lowest any SSD has been. the samsung is .86/gig
