This nailed it. I'd pay $100 if the game were phenomenal. That said, I'm mildly disappointed with D3, and I'm very excited for TL2, but I don't agree that D3 isn't a great game in it's own right.

I'm loving D3 and playing way too much but I think I'm looking forward to TL2 more. I never got a beta key so hopefully they'll have another weekend before release (or even better...release early :))

Sorry to hear. The TL 2 beta is sick. Combat is fast and furious and there are so many new features that show Runic listened to fan feedback from TL 1 and nailed their implementation.

Most of the TL2 fanbois seem to have this same exact attitude.
Feel free to compare the D3 beta to the TL2 beta. that's apples to apples. But saying that TL2 is a better game than D3...

I don't know how you can judge D3 based on the beta. Game is so addicting one your character is up to lvl 13 or so with some decent weapons and armor.
