ECS and PCChips have been the same company since 2005. I'm pretty sure the same company manufactured both ECS and PCChips boards even before that. I haven't had any trouble with recent ECS boards...

Possibly, the GA-H61-USB3 runs flawlessly, this also uses the H61 northbridge. The ethernet and sound may be a problem.

I bought this model of motherboard last December, and the G530 worked on it right out of the box. It even had the old text BIOS on it, but I have since flashed to the newer graphical BIOS.

This is probably a stupid question, but the board has a couple labels with numbers on it....which one is the serial number? The rebate form asks for the board serial number.
